Student-centered pathways give students learning opportunities that are personalized and connected to practical experiences that prepare them for postsecondary, career and civic life.
In the past, policy levers to create student-centered pathways for high school students have been isolated and therefore difficult to implement. This Policy Outline offers policymakers an opportunity to consider the connections between six policy areas that can support successful implementation of student-centered pathways. Policymakers can also draw inspiration from examples of how states have leveraged each policy area.
